Wow. I just got off a big SOAD kick after listening to almost all of the band's albums (Toxicity is my favourite, and the library doesn't have Mezmerize out yet), Scars on Broadway's only album (at least so far), and both of Tankian's solo albums; When it comes to the solo efforts, I'm torn between which ones I like better, whether it's Scars' hooky nature, or Tankian's lyrics.
Incidentally, I just bought a few albums: the Talking Heads' Remain in Light, Willie Nelson's Stardust, and the Pogues' Rum, Somdomy, and the Lash. Just a small look into my listening habits.
Also in my listening queue: The Ramones' first four albums, David Gray's White Ladder, Diz and Bird live at Carnegie Hall, Duke Ellington at Newport, Bach's Cello Suites (Heinrich Schiff's recording), Beethoven's Favourite Piano Sonatas (Stephen Bishop Kovacevich), Chopin's Nocturnes (Claudio Arrau), and Erich Korngold's score to Errol Flynn's The Sea Hawk.
