This argument is somewhat silly. There is abundant evidence that hitler had been explicitly contemptuous of any fundamental belief that would characterize chritistianity as distinct from any other creed or religion. Christians, whatever else they might or might not be, do not hold the belief that "Christianity is all full of shit" as Hitler evidently believed. So he can not be considered a Christian for any purpose, regardless of whether he was baptized or was ever excommunicated, other than the most tendentious purposes.
There is also abundant evidence that Hitler found the structure and heirachy of the Roman Catholic Church (as well as some Protestant churches) inspired for the purpose suppress skepticism, instill mindless obedience, and whipping up cultish fervor, which he would like to replicate for his own purposes. So it is not surprising he would not openly renounce Christianity.
There is also abundant evidence that he believed Christianity ought to be promoted amongst the subject races of the German Reich because that would make it easier for them to be ruled by the Aryan herrenvolk, where as the Aryana herrenvolk should not be inculcated with Christian beliefs, because that would lower them to the level of slave races. So does that support the notion he was Christian?
