I could bitch all day about "oh the British came to my [grandparents'] country and fucked shit up" until the cows come home, and ngl, I still feel a way when I see British tourists going there fucking shit up, ignorant. But what is bitching about past events going to change? It happened, what are colonised people doing to rebuild? That should be the focus of the conversation, not crying over stuff we can't change.
