I'm sure he meant to say, "It is certainly within reason to blame a runaway radical ideology within the religion of Islam, which has hijacked the culture in the most poverty-stricken, war-torn, lawless areas, for 9/11".

You can even blame Islam for it, since it's as open to interpretation as christianity or judaism. It's the followers of any given religion where the distinction kicks in. Drippy's form of christianity would be as dangerous and leathal as Al Baghdadi's, if given half a chance. CL's or Kingpins one, not so much.
