I don't condone burning books of any nature but I am pretty sure if someone burned a bible, in fact I have actually burned one myself it will create a massive riot from the Christians. They would air their disgust or even blame it on the influence of Satan etc. but they wont run rampant around the country killing atheist etc. When I first left the church I took on of my personal bibles and burned it to ashes. It was a private affair and I thought I needed to do it at the time to sort of sever myself from those beliefs and the fear that accompanied my beliefs in God.
How is not burning a Koran giving in to terrorist? I don't see the connection. It's not the fact that he burned a Koran it is the fact that he put many peoples lives at risk. I bet if you were a soldier deployed in Afghanistan your opinions would not be so strong against this mans actions. If you were in the thick of it yourself I'm pretty sure you would actually be pissed if you knew that your life was in immediate danger because of the irresponsible actions of an ignorant Christian minister.
