Unless you want to admit that the "aliens" who taught them to build their pyramids, and do brain surgery, taught them also that the world was flat and that the sun only rises when humans are sacrificed.
what difference does it make what the aliens chose to teach them? they could have indeed decided to teach them the world was flat for all i care.
ever realise the possibility of a social experiment? fill us with lies and see how it affects us? maybe they were using us all as a giant big brother experiment, choosing to poison our minds with crazy shit to see how we react and progress.
and i'd love to see some evidence to suggest even vaguely that the ancient nazca peoples believed that
1. the earth was flat
2. they must sacrifice humans to make the sun come up
