What's the point in dating single mothers?

Exactly, this is the much more elegant way of saying it for sure. I strongly object to people who don't want to date someone with children being described so negatively. Maybe I just want to live my own life and not have to take care of children. Not everyone wants children and dating someone who has them means that if the relationship gets serious you are responsible for children all of the sudden. If you want children then fine, it's reasonable to date someone with them. I would have no problem dating someone with adult children, but a single mother? No thanks.

That's you choice of course, but when I was single I dated single mothers from time to time.
It was no different to dating other single people.

Unless things work out well. Then you have children to take care of. So in that matter it's very very different.
