Hell, Red comes over to my house and helps me clean it up even though I don't ask him to. So he's not just trying to get away with doing whatever he wants. And when I said rebellion above, I think what I really meant was stubbornness. But if I had to put up with what he's having to put up with, I would think rebellion would be a natural reaction.
They do seem to be a bit crazy with getting you to church for some reason. But like I said, you probably will just have to suck it up and go with them until you get out on your own. I'd say watch out & try not to get molested by a priest but since you're 18 you're probably past the age where you have to worry about that!
