He's 18 now. They can make him leave if they want to. Though it is pretty shitty of them to threaten to kick him out one month from graduation.
I'll do you one better. When I realized religion was bullshit, I spit on a crucifix I had and tossed it into a lake. The rest of it, like rosaries & stuff I threw in the trash. I still have my study bible, though, to read and remind me why I don't believe in it.
