Pretty people on TV

I don't watch much television, but when I do for some reason I can't stand good looking people on TV. I'm going to have a seizure of hate if I have to see one more sexy young forensic scientist or doctor. Yeah right. It drives me insane. For one I think it reduces the quality of acting by making the acting pool so small that it only covers the tiny percentage of skinny sexy people. I'm watching some random shitty show about people surviving the apocolypse and why have only sexy young people survived? Enough already. It's probably my number one pet peeve about television, and a reason why British television is better. Also really successful shows, say Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones tend to have much more normal looking or at least a variety of different looking people on them. Imagine if Saul Goodman was a sexy young lawyer? That would be your normal stupid show. That seems to be the real formula for success. So why do your average shitball shows just have pretty people on them still?
