Indeed. So the bottom line is... By what standard do we select our mentors? Echo chamber anyone?
That couldn't be answered on anything other than a case by case basis, could it? A great many disagreements boil down to our differing standards, and our disparate means of selecting them. In context, an echo chamber is right on point.
