Quote:Trump Campaign Struggles to Manage Melania Trump Speech Fallout
Quote:"It's piss-poor staff work," a source within the campaign told NBC News. "Melania has been humiliated. No doubt heads are going to roll."
Top Trump aide Paul Manafort responded erratically to the news, framing the story as overblown, as unimportant to the candidate, and later as part of a partisan conspiracy targeting Mrs. Trump.
Manafort first told CBS News there was "no cribbing" of Obama's speech and minimized the issue's relevance.
"Certainly there is no feeling on [Melania's] part that she did it," Manafort said. "What she did is use words that are common words."
The trouble is she used those "common words" in exactly the same order as Michelle Obama did 8 years ago, asshole.
"Mrs." Trump ???
What would Jesus say ??
Seriously, what would Jesus say about that ??
I'd like to have a christer here imagine they are explaining Jesus Holy plan for "one man, one woman, once" marriage in regards to their (presumed) vote for Trump in the upcoming election to their own children and then share that explanation with the rest of us.
And if a Presbyterian could weigh in on the Presbyterian position on open and notorious adultery, divorce, and remarriage, I'd love to hear it too.
And then, to complete the trifecta here, why is there controversy about what Melania said, and no controversy at all amongst the religious folks the republicans are pandering to so shamelessly about adultery, philandering, publishing accounts of ones own cheating and multiple marriages and divorces ??
The religious right has a lot of splainin' to do and they need to get started on it IMMEDIATELY.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
