You're saying that others got sick and died as well, but you're suggesting that a disproportionate number of all who got sick and died were those interfering?

Sort of like . . . collateral damage?

 No, what I said plainly was that those who tried to disrupt God's plan for the church were punished before anyone else got sick or died.

The word "before" was confusing to me, as I read it as "prior to" anyone else . . .

But, I think you must mean it as a preventive measure?
