Nothing at all? I've always bought into the idea that you need it, running every second you're connected to the net... but are you saying that's not the case? I wouldn't use anti-virus on Linux or Android but I've always been led to believe it's pretty much essential for Windows. I'll try and decipher that cryptic message and follow your advice
