I do actually think fuck Trump, I don't want to see him get into office. That doesn't mean I like Hillary and think she's going to do something revolutionary that no president has ever done before. They are both pretty useless, making the same empty promises that we keep falling for as usual, and you'll still be overworked and underpaid in another 8 years whoever your vote for. Sorry to burst your naive illusion that your little "vote" means anything.

Nobody is saying Hillary is a cure all, but she wont get us into the messes Bush did, and she certainly isn't a demagogue like Trump. No, it does count and I am sorry you feel that way because it is flat out wrong. When you look at the progress between the founding of this country to today there has been lots of progress because of citizen involvement. I find your dime view very short sighted. 
I have the same reaction to other atheists when they say "what's the use" knowing how small our voice was back in 01 to how big it has become now. Our 36 year decline didn't happen overnight and it wont be fixed overnight, but to say nothing will change is absurd. Bernie didn't start the Occupy movement, that was a reaction to the stock market crash that lead to the recession, and that was long before anyone knew who Bernie was on a national scale. But you look at how much more workers are getting involved now, it is far bigger now. You cannot sit there and complain about monopolies then do nothing. Say nothing get nothing.
