I imagine you want to get a solid studying routine and good studying methods. Check out on the internet some ways of studying and check which one fits you good. Everyone is different and work differently however there are some things that apply to everyone or the vast majority of people e.g if you're planning to study for 5 hours before an exam, instead of studying 5 hours in two days before the exam it's better to devide it and study e.g 50 minutes each day for six days before the exam. Also, micropauses have shown to help, personally it helps me a lot to ask myself questions regarding what I'm studying and also making mental images when studying helps a lot too. But you might and probably are different.
