Christians in this country are soooo persecuted. What must we do to end the constant persecution? Dare I dream of a day when Christians are able to express their beliefs in public? Will a day ever come when they're allowed to actually build houses of worship? Will they ever be allowed to publicly display their faith by wearing crosses on their clothing or jewelry? Will they ever be so bold as to erect signs along busy highways professing their faith? Maybe a day will come when they can have their own TV channels and radio stations. And - dare I say it - will we ever see a day in which a Christian will even get elected to public office? Even president?
Persecution is to harsh a word at this moment, but it won't always be the case. There's been a gradual decline in Christian values in the U.S. over the last several decades. The removal of prayer from school, the concealment of the Ten Commandments in our courts, Barrack's claim the U.S. is no longer a Christian nation etc. These are lite afflictions pointing ahead to something much worse. You don't have to look very hard to see that Christianity is persecuted throughout the globe, along with Judaism. The most persecuted faiths are the two that are rooted in the Book. It'll continue to get worse for Christians in the United States and to be honest I hope you could prove me wrong.
And if a double decker bus crashes into to us, to die by your side is such a heavenly way to die...there's a Light and it never goes out.
