Stop trying to goad a religious arguement out of me off topic Zen, you know the Christian standpoint on God sacrificing his son.

That you've made something that wasn't a sacrifice at all into some sort of wonderfully selfless act? Yes, we are aware of it.

As to the point on topic, no you can't, but you can discourage irrationality and senseless wastes like this. I'm all for letting the stupid weed themselves out of society, but I'd prefer them just all move to a stupid island and not kill themselves/ others.

And how do you propose to do that? Reason and Logic?

Anyone who is prepared to nail themselves to a dead tree in the name of a make believe messiah is going to be rather immune to either of those.
