You just brushed off everything meaningful I brought up about God's love for us in this thread. We want to associate with him because we know what it is to have him dwelling in us. We experience his love Rob.
What exactly did you bring up about the love of this God of yours? That he would allow his own servants to suffer atrocity, although he could've stopped it? That's not love. It's apathy - or better yet, a rationalization, on your part, to keep believing that God exists, and is somehow involved in overseeing everything.
