What I should have said in the OP, but I forgot to say, is that no one deserves to get cancer - and she certainly didn't deserve to get cancer. I also forgot to mention that she had already tried to heal herself with diet for a year and a half before going to the clinic to try and have the, well I'm not going to be kind here, fraudulent doctor heal her with Gerson therapy (a diet-based remedy). In the second last vid (the one with the doctor) he says that she wants to stay for another 3 weeks, but that will cost USD 20,000! (edit..) She'd was there for 4 weeks (maybe 5?) so presumably at a cost of USD 26,000! CHA-CHING! God I wish I could make that kind of money per patient just by giving them juices and vitamins.
This guy is fucking fleecing his victims for all they're worth - it's not as if preparing 13 juices a day and providing vitamins justifies that cost! As mentioned above, the medical costs associated with treating brest cancer for working age patients in Australia is on average $16,000 (~ USD 12,250) using medical practise - i.e. surgery, chemo, radiotherapy, and diagnostics (blood tests, x-ray, etc).
FYI in the video after the one I posted she reveals that she has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism; and hormone receptor positive breast cancer. She goes on to say that diet is not enough to treat her cancer, even though by that time that's exactly what she's been doing for 16 straight months, and even though she reaffirms that "some people" can cure their cancers that way!! She still believed that curing her hyperthyroidism would therefore cure her breast cancer. Had she lived to tell the tale she would be going around the world giving seminars about how to cure cancer with a raw vegan diet and juicing; now that she's died we need to recognise how wrong she was. This is what people do - they forget the counter-examples, the negative outcomes that people had that provide evidence against their hypothesis.

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
