So there's a potential religious bias involved, in her appealing to ad hoc rationalizations regarding a practice engaged for -no- medical benefit, and -with- no roundly demnstrable medical benefit.

Circumcision is not a Catholic ting. It's a Jewish thing. She's Catholic. 

Which catholics (and many others) have assumed, culturally, as the purported heirs to the keys of the kingdom.  Let's not pretend that we did some studies and -then- started snipping our dicks.  That didn't happen.    

The largest Catholic nations on earth (Brazil, all of Latin America, Germany, and France), hardly ever circumcise their boys. 

......brazil.......germany, france........relevance?  If cultural support is not there, it;s not done. Cultural support is there, here, and so it is. Where does that come from? If you like, I can give you the chapter and verse, lol.

My whole family is South American and Catholic, and none of them are circumcised. 

So you should be tangenitally familiar with uncut peen.  That makes your statements in this thread..to me, as a fellow member of the uncut, damn near inexplicable.  Your entire family isn;t a walking, festering, incubator for disease with their dirty, inexplicably uncut peni...right? They wash, their dicks......I assume.

Her opinions are purely based on health and what she has seen and dealt with as a doctor. Not religion.

Sure they are, lol. The broad cultural acceptance the practice enjoys as an artifact of religiosity has -nothing- to do with it. She's immune to such things, because she's a doctor.
