I'm not trying to diminish your experience, but sometimes abuse can be mutually consensual and hot. Just putting that out there.
No problem EP. I'll be totally honest, I didn't find it "mutually consensual" or "hot", since I never grew up in a violent environment. I don't fancy walking to the shops with a black eye, do you? In fact, I was pretty close to giving her name to the authorities and she would have had the children taken away immediately because she didn't have a leg to stand on.
