Sort of a complicated question, I'll try to ask. How was I born me and not another?

The universe isn't under any compulsion to satisfy you.  You asked questions and received accurate answers.  Your level of satisfaction is irrelevant.

So, I have been wondering for some time why I was born me and not someone or something else.

This question would have somewhat made more sense if you had asked how you were born you instead of someone else, rather than you as opposed to a dog.

No, it makes just as much sense. And to add to the question, I want to know why I was born at all, and my molecules aren't just a rock on the beach or something.
