Sort of a complicated question, I'll try to ask. How was I born me and not another?

So we don't know whether or not being born is just an inevitability, or if it's a huge off chance that only happens to some people, while some people that would have been may have ended up to just be other non conscious matter drifting around in space? Because to me it sounds like somewhere in there, there's something that would be observable and answerable.

Please tell me how we would determine "how many people could have been," and are now "matter drifting around in space."

Well, take the hamburger paradigm I explained a few pages ago. If babies come from hamburgers, meaning the mother consumes a hamburger and it fuels her body giving her the necessary nutrients needed to give birth to a baby, and form it's molecular structure; or better yet let's say it's a vege burger because's that's easier; say this vege burger comes from vegetabes that come from the sediment in the surrounding soil where it was grown. In the case of the cow too, the cow comes from the surrounding grass where it was fed. So it only seems logical that a baby is just a culmination of nutrients that were gathered together by completely random events. There could be new human beings destined to become human beings, which are currently just sediments, just laying around all over the planet. It only seems logical to say, then, that the probability of becoming a human being, and not remaining sediment, seems awfully strange and chancy. Yet, here I am right here, talking on this computer to you. It seems very strange to me to have even been born at all, it makes me wonder why this even happened all the time.

You're making an error in that last post of yours. It's not a question of what is the probability of being born a rock. Jesus Christ, you should second guess before you make such a wild assumption. No, what I meant was what are the chances of never being born, and instead just being a rock instead of a baby, or some sediments in the soil. Whatever. Doesn't have to just be a rock.

I'm making the assumption?  You specifically and repeatedly listed rocks as a possibility.  I could quote you, but I shouldn't have to.  As a point of fact, I've told you that it was -not- possible for you to be born as a rock, given that your parents were human beings (and not just a little bit..because rocks aren't born in the first place)

The chances of you having never been born are zero.  Again, here you are.  Similarly, and as I've already explained, you have -never- been inanimate material, so the chances of you having been inanimate material, such as sediment, are also zero.

You misunderstand the question, and I actually disprove some of that stuff you just said in my last post.
