Johnny's a badass, and a fellow Texan, to boot. There ain't many who can do a slow blues better than him, and his slide playing is great too. I don't care for his tone in that clip -- a little thin and wiry for my taste. To answer your question -- there are songs I prefer, but "better" is in the ear of the listener.

Pretty goddamned amazing. Nice hypnotic feel, and reminds me a little of Bert Jansch with its Celtic modality. Anyone who can manage that many strings gets my vote.
