"Muslims are terrorists"

.... Not one of these statements is more or less bigoted than the others.

To your list I would also add:
"The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.' They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good."
And:
"But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

As far as the OP, I'd agree that the clergy was/is a parasite in those societies wherein public funds were used to support their racket. Otherwise, I see no difference in the services they allegedly provide and any other form of intoxication or distraction that one can acquire.
