Historical characters you admire

Yes, we had pretty much the same thread some weeks ago.

I say the same I said there. There are quite a lot who's contributions to the world I admire. I don't admire the whole person though. Newton certainly is among them. Moved science forward quite a bit, but at the same time, by all accounts, was a raving religious fanatic.

Mozart would be another one. He might be the closest to admiration, in my case. The man Mozart obviously didn't give a shit over the conventions of his time. He rather composed for and hung out with the ordinary people than sucking up to the elites. One of the first rockstars I would say.
