Unfortunately, it's exactly that kind of head-in-the-sand attitude that allows abuse, sexual or otherwise, to go on. "He's such a nice boy, always keeps himself to himself. He'd never do anything like that."
I said it isn't likely. But I can understand being cautious about accusing someone of such a heinous thing without extremely clear cut evidence.
