I've had the same guy cut my hair for a few years now. It just works better, he knows how I want it, he's quick, and since I'm a good tipper, he looks forward to seeing me.
He's in a franchise place, and sometimes I might have to wait a bit, and even when someone else is available, I willingly wait.
He has a sharp memory, I go in every 2 months or so and he resumes the conversation right where we left off the time before.
My dad does my hair now... cos it's just a number whatever all over... but the last thing I talked about with my long time barber before I stopped going was that I was going to be dancing in drag at a charity event. My barber was happily taking the piss and all the other customers thanked me for the free entertainment
