So my question is this: in what ways do your own ideas differ from the society you are currently in? How closely do you feel attuned to it? What do you think should be viewed more favourably, and what do you think deserves more scorn?
Define society.
The norms of my house (a society of 4) differ from the norms of my neighborhood, which differ from the norms of my city, which differ from the norms of my country, ................
I attune my norms to operate at my comfort level with in the context.
Someone always has to come and get alllll technical....

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
