Yeah, but it did shine a huge fucking spotlight on the racism.  They've passed the point of plausible deniability.

I guess, which as I said doesn't make it any better, it's not so much the racism but the frightening apathy making it possible for something like that to happen. Otherwise good people hearing the message and still voting for that creature. I tend to believe them when they say they aren't racists themselves, but they were aiding and abetting.
