Whats your favourite book and why?

The Stand as well, with its theme of loss and redemption, is great too, for my money.

I don't know what King had in mind with that one, but it's a little bit too god interventionist for my liking. Something Drippy could have dreamed up in his more lucid moments, since it's still King, but still too much.
