I'm not sure if I agree with the cult label, but was turned off by the idea of humanity as super organism. Much of the packaging left me with the impression that this is nothing more than new-age spirituality with technology at its core.
If I ignore this and consider the elements that I do find intriguing I am compelled to conclude this as an attempt to find a short circuited path to a rudimentary form of stoicism in an effort to replicate the neurological response/condition that religion provides. Far better in my opinion to actually teach stoic principles.
