I'm just saying, it doesn't give a woman much time to make a decision. My OB won't even have a woman into the office to verify a pregnancy on ultrasound until 8 weeks pregnant (which is pretty standard these days) so, according to this law, by the time a woman can have a potentially viable pregnancy verified via imaging, it's already too late for her to decide to terminate. Talk about a road block. I'm surprised your doc saw you so early, CL. Is that standard for your OB or did you request to come in sooner than 8 weeks? If you don't mind me asking, Ofc. [emoji170]
What I was saying is that the article said the heart beat can be heard at 6 weeks after conception (8 weeks pregnant). I was saying that this is not the case because I heard my son's at 4 weeks after conception (6 weeks pregnant).
I requested it early because I was having very early symptoms (2 weeks after conception) and wanted to know if I had twins. Having twins tends to cause early symptoms.
Well, what do you expect from a bunch of old men? [emoji39]
I had early symptoms both times as well. It always blows my mind when I hear stories of women who didn't know they were pregnant until they were popping a baby out on the toilet in a Walmart somewhere, lol. Like...how?! [emoji848]
