Your post was refreshing to see, cap.
You can't have a well informed opinion without reading conservative news in addition to other sources. When people on here say 'stop reading Brietbart' or 'Turn off Fox News' they are basically saying they don't like listening to opinions other then their own. Also, unlike most people, I'd much rather read opinions that I disagree with. How boring is it to only read your own opinion all the time? I already know what I believe, I don't have such a fragile ego or intellect that reading Brietbart or listening to Christian radio or whatever is going to do anything negative to me. People who say not to listen or read conservative news maybe don't have that much strength or resolve in their own opinions.
Couldn't agree more. That's exactly why I'm here, on an atheist forum.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
