Unfortunately what you have done is fall for rather obvious lies. Remember I hail from over the pond to you so have the benefit of seeing what is happening to you from a distance.
What we see is a whole swathe of americans who react to things in a strange and interesting way.
They choose to see things that aren't there, they choose to believe in wars on Christmas on conspiracies that bring down sky scrapers and camps for this and drug induced that, all while ignoring or excusing the awful behaviour of the right wing republicans who are often working in ways that disadvantage these same people. Turkeys voting for Christmas. Tis strange indeed.
