It's only fair we get a look at the hamster in question! She's a winter white. She is very seriously nocturnal. Except for the first day we got her, we've barely seen her. But as soon as we get into bed, we hear her going mental in her wheel!

It's hard to get a decent picture of her. (Yeah, she's not white. It's complicated, hehe. We found out that most Winter Whites are most likely hybrids with Campbells. We did previously have two WWs which were completely white. We now think they were the "pearl" variety, rather than the norm.)
