We should inform ourselves with non-shitty perspectives. I'm not going to see what the Bible says on the matter and I don't even have to read one sentence from the Bible to disbelieve in Biblical bullshit.
Right wing views limit freedom. Fuck knows why I'd want to inform myself with views that go against absolutely everything I stand for. I'm not gonna be reading conservative news articles and one day say "Wow this suddenly makes sense! Let's limit people's freedoms and start taxing the rich less and I'll have my disability money reduced! Wow the right wingers are right I'm spending the government's money with my disability pay! And the working class definitely ought to be angry with me and not the rich corrupt business assholes who pay zero tax!"
....yeah.... not gonna happen. I'm not completely liberal but I'm more left than right wing for a reason.
