Yes we make sure she takes her medication,  see has other problems as well. Her medication for schizophrenia has been reduced and are working to get it reduced even further, her doctor has been impressed with her progress. Thank you for inquiring about her, she's like a daughter to me I'm so happy she is part of my life.

Dose reductions of psychotropics are very beneficial until the minimal therapeutic dose is reached. These meds are truly great but as with all meds side effects can be nasty and cause patients to not take the drugs. In my particular role as an RN it is my job to ensure these dose reductions are attempted. A good doctor will do so routinely.
