As for my personal affinity for the term, it relates to being invested in the rational material world, without cleaving to superstitions and mythologies affording anthropomorphic Deific effigies as mirrors for the cause and effect behind our accomplishments or transgressions.
Spiritual atheism, for me, is investing myself in charity, environmentalism, introspection.
I've amended my profile and religious views. I didn't realize it would be made public on every post. I thought it was only something to be displayed if one visited my profile.

I presume it is quite easy to be a spiritual atheist. You don't have to believe in deities to be spiritual. That being said, spirituality is something I have always found to be a bit hokey. Hope you're not hokey, new guy.
