Good question.

Well lets start with the teenagers. I myself am in my teenage years so I should know best. Here where I live in central Europe, the amount of teenagers smoking cigarettes, weed, taking drugs, drinking alcohol is way greater. Every teen here does it and I myself has tried cigarettes and alcohol as a muslim. In the UAE there were way less of that but there was still a lot of teens smoking cigarettes, and a tiny bit of drinking alcohol. Dubai has a lot of stuff to do for teenagers, all those malls and stuff. That why I think the teens did less of bad stuff then here in Europe.

Dubai was also way safer. A teenager there could stay outside until the early morning hours alone because nothing would happen. Here you cannot stay outside that late because there are a lot of people who are drunk and carry knifes. Also here in Europe because of the refugees coming in it has gotten way less secure.

Dubai does have strict rules but those rules are not followed and are not necessarily bad. There are tons of couples kissing in public and nothing happens. The police and security is very kind.
