A word of advice: don't waste your time on the "questions" that are clearly not genuine questions and are only meant to be condecending.
Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is the logic is that men go to war and women traditionally don't (at least in Arabia), therefore the can be shortage of men at times so multiple women will partner with a single man.
Very interesting. Though that sounds more like a reason stemming from practicality rather than religion. If for whatever reason there was a shortage of women, would it be morally permissible to have multiple husbands? Hopefully the OP comes back.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
