What is happenng now is that the world is starting to look a l;ot like it does just before world wars start with right wing demagogues being voted in by idiots.

Besides it's more of temporary halt to strengthen the vetting process from certain nations of concern where Isis fighters and extremists are. It's not just terrorist attacks, but also all the other problems and crimes that's happening. Sweden is hiding how bad it is just to be PC, punishing cops who speak the truth about it.

So you don't believe whats said unless it supports your thoughts.

Besides if you actually listened to the speech, instead of getting your rawstory cherry picked stories, you would know he talked about creating safe zones in those countries and getting the gulf states to pay for the creation and take the migrants.

Neither do I. He didn't say the words terrorist attack, but the press has now made a story by interpreting what he implied. To me the funny thing is people are getting flustered over nothing really. Watch, this will turn into the biggest story about the entire speech. How would I know what he meant. Perhaps he was thinking of something else and misspoke. That's why I posted the videos I did.

So, should we all just ignore him, then?  I mean, this happens pretty much every time he speaks.  He is the president, his words carry more weight than you or I.  A misstep here and there is expected, we are all human.  But if we can never be sure what he means, what is the point of having him as president? He's just a rambling lunatic if no one can "interpret" what he means.  If even when asked, his answers are unclear.

At any rate, it appears he's gotten this bit from Fox News, but they didn't report a terrorist attack, just crime rates.  Still, it's what he watches, and he pretty much gets all his info from cable news....you know, the ones he calls fake. Isn't THAT the biggest irony ever?  lol

However, Fox News host Tucker Carlson ran an interview on Friday night's broadcast of "Tucker Carlson Tonight" with documentarian and media personality Ami Horowitz, who presented a clip from a new film documenting alleged violence committed by refugees in Sweden. The segment went on extensively about a supposed crime surge in Sweden and its links to immigrant populations. 
Crime rates in Sweden have stayed relatively stable, with some fluctuations, over the last decade, according to the 2016 Swedish Crime Survey.
This isn't the first time that there has been a correlation between Trump's statements and programming on cable news, of which he is a noted fan.
In late January, Trump tweeted about gun violence in Chicago shortly after after an "O'Reilly Factor" segment on the same topic, which cited the same statistics and even used the word "carnage," a recent favorite noun of Trump's.

Fox and worse right wing sites give Trump his news.  Then Trump misinterprets what he hears, or misremembers, or twists it to his own agenda, and broadcasts it to his fans on twitter and so forth, and you all think he's brilliant for repeating what he heard from Bill O'Reilly. It really is just a giant circle jerk with the president not even leading it, but following whatever news catches his interest.  This isn't from the CIA, FI, or the head a head of some other country.  He's just like an old, Drunk Uncle, listening to crazy conspiracy theories and repeating half garbled versions of them to his bar buddies.

Swedens official twitter account felt the need to respond perplexedly with  "Nothing has happened here in Sweden. There has not [been] any terrorist attacks here. At all."
