I suppose there can be a crisis more severe than his finger on the nuclear button, but we are likely dead and therefore won't care when such a crisis eventuates.
My fear if that happens is all the lingering sickness and death that follows, for millenia. That someone like this can ascend to that kind of power via the US' electoral process is a condemnation on the true abilities of the human race. Maybe the planet's life can survive it, perhaps not. But we ought to at least be able curb this kind of stupidity. Throwing turds out of a tree at an enemy is one thing, but this deeply affects every living being on the planet.
