I only hear you commenting about people who like Trump. Do you feel the same about someone commenting about how much they hate Trump? Do you get upset about people talking politics on award shows?
I do not watch any award shows, and yes I do get annoyed by politics in general from random strangers. In the company of people I know, it's a sore subject. The only time politics comes up is when we are talking anime or a television show. I understand it, and I know the references, but for the most I'm done caring about the subject in general. But, you never answered my question though. If had a love for cake, would you bring up the subject up in a non bakery or restaurant setting, or to a random stranger?

They are becoming a major problem in today's society. You can be proud of your ethnic back ground, just don't be too be loud about it. When Obama was in office, I did not notice a single black that I knew personally get all juiced up like these Trump people are. Why can't people just keep to them selves? I wish life worked like a message board, you don't see me bitching about other peoples threads. If you want to participate in a thread, you open it and read it and comment if you like. If you don't like the title, you don't open it and move on to a thread you want to read based on the title. It's not hard to follow that simple philosophy right?(March 18, 2017 at 9:11 pm)Lek Wrote: I only hear you commenting about people who like Trump. I can't speak for Sterben but I've mentioned to friends lately that I don't give a flying fig what any celebrity thinks about politics, regardless of what side they're on. Why should I? I'm perfectly capable of making up my own mind and don't need to listen to some out of touch, wealthy celebrity expounding their political opinions.
And I agree with the other commenters on this thread who said they don't discuss politics in mixed company. I only bring up politics in the company of close friends who share my views. There are plenty of other topics to talk about with strangers. Why spoil what otherwise might have been a good day by bringing up politics with a stranger?
