I've always liked the Church. Listening to Starfish on the airplane flying back to California as my stepfather lay on his deathbed, this song just broke me open. Days pass like warm sun on the face ...
There are other songs as well that move me deeply based on the emotional context of a particular time in my life. More to the point of this thread, there's something about this piece that lights me up inside:
