^This song is the reason I think the Beatles will never be surpassed as a pop band. It never fails to leave me with tears in my eyes, or at least goosebumps when I'm at my most apathetic.

^This on the other hand, reminds me of when I was 17, and I had had this huge crush on a girl going on for 2-3 years; she treated me like dirt though, and so I decided to just let it go and never speak to her again. Then I met the girl who is now my SO of 5 years, and during that period my old crush would send me texts in which she explained she was sorry and she missed me and whatnot. Well, this song reminds me of how I felt about it. Bitter, but with a side of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
