While he's correct that the US has - often blatantly - interfered with the democratic process of other countries, I think he's off the mark when he implies that the US should simply forget it happened and proceed to improve relations with Russia.

I think what he's referring to is that it's a joke considering that we've interfered far more with the Russians then whatever they did in this election. They revealed information we should have had access to anyway, where as we have supported coups to overthrow democratically elected leaders lots. Sorry if you felt the title was misleading, I was just editing for space. It's only a 4 minute clip so not that long to listen to and get what he's talking about.
I do think we should improve relations with Russia. There is really no downside to it. Obama saying that we are going to get them back cyber-wise just means that they are going to get us back again and etc etc etc. We don't need more cold war.

What's the upside to having worse relations to Russia?
Nato was made as a reaction to the Soviet Union, which doesn't even exist anymore.
