Drunks drive cars too. Let's ban the fast cars so drunks don't drive them.

False equivalence game is played by the NRA to confuse the issue. The primary purpose of cars is not violence. Nor, except in vanishingly small numbers, do five year olds kill their three year old sister with a car in the living room of their home.

You'll never win an argument with a gun nut--because there's one clear word in there.  "Nut".  You can't argue with someone who's crazy.

That's why I say "ardent gunner". With the obvious exception of my cousins most ardent gunners aren't crazy, they've just been sold a bill of goods by the folks who stand to profit from all this.
