America's obsession with guns

Cops and Military have guns, but they DONT always fire in every situation. Your bullshit intent will get YOU hurt far more likely.

I have carried a gun for many years and have never fired in a situation.

Cops also retreat when needed, they talk a suspect down and that happens far more than actually firing their weapons. Reality isn't Dirty Harry or John Wayne. I can tell you, if you applied to become a police officer, you'd wash out with your bullshit attitude. Survival isn't about defaulting to using a gun. 

I don't default to the gun. It is a last resort tool. You carefully skip over the many times I've said that.

Now if you meant what you said in the PM in the other website, stop your poor me crybaby "they are out to get me" and LISTEN, because taking us seriously will make you safer.

YOUR rights are not the subject, your lack of pragmatism, and your delusional bullshit "tough guy" act will GET YOU HURT. The biggest thing that helps you survive a stressful situation is not your ego, not always fighting back, but looking for the path of least resistance and training, and none of that always requires armed conflict. 

Again, I always look for a way out of the situation.

You are a danger TO YOURSELF more than anyone else with this attitude. Your intent is only what you would like to happen, and in reality, intent doesn't mean shit.

My intent is to survive. If someone is stabbing me then I'm going to do whatever it takes to eliminate the threat.
